How to reduce wear of twin-shaft mixer
2023-10-28

1. The twin-shaft mixer is intermittent operation. It must be operated strictly in accordance with the instructions. Each blade bolt must be tightened regularly to prevent the bolts from loosening and causing the blade angle to change, causing slow material mixing and increasing the load of the mixer. The bearing seat bolts, reducer, and motor seat bolts must be tightened regularly to prevent the main shaft from vibrating during operation to prevent bearing damage and gear damage.

2. If the mixing blade is found to bend and deform during the inspection, it must be replaced in time. If the blade head is severely worn, the blade must be replaced in time.

3. Lubricating oil should be added to the reducer, bearings, and gears regularly to prevent wear and damage due to lack of oil.

4. The feed in the cylinder should be uniform and should not be filled with the cylinder to cause overload mixing. If blockage or foreign matter is found, the machine should be stopped for inspection or the blockage should be handled in time to prevent damage to the blades. Clean the agglomerated materials at the bottom of the cylinder regularly to prevent the agglomeration from adding load when starting again, causing blade wear, damage, or jamming.
